Can be reused over and over again
Aluminum can be melted down and reused over and over again without losing any of its valuable and durable properties. So the conditions are perfect for an efficient cycle. A very high percentage, over 90%, of aluminium extrusion-based products used in building, construction and transportation are recycled. The high value of the material and its ease of recycling contribute to this high proportion. Recycling represents an energy saving of 95% compared to primary production.
