Respect for the individual

Respect for the individual is central to ProfilGruppen’s operations. We strive for a down-to-earth and humble corporate culture where every employee is seen, given the opportunity to develop and enjoy their work. Our core values are personal commitment, professionalism, speed, responsiveness and improvement orientation.

Diversity is a strength

ProfilGruppen brings together employees from around 20 different countries, with different cultural backgrounds, languages, skills, ages and genders. Diversity is one of our strengths.

Our equal treatment policy makes it clear that victimization or sexual harassment must never occur and action plans to prevent discrimination and harassment are in place.

At the company’s initiative, a special group called “PG for all” has been set up to promote the benefits of diversity.

Physical and psychological safety through certified work environment

Feeling safe is a prerequisite for being engaged at work.

Our work environment policy describes our common starting point. The aim of our work environment is to create a physically and mentally healthy and stimulating workplace for all employees, where we prevent occupational injuries and work-related ill health. We have a vision of zero accidents and work proactively to reduce risks, including through an active risk reporting system.

The largest employer in the Group, ProfilGruppen Extrusions AB, is certified according to ISO 45001.

Till vår arbetsmiljöpolicy

The social and organizational aspects of the work environment are just as important as the physical aspects for well-being at work. To take the temperature of this, a pulse measurement is used in the large staff groups that continuously gives the status of factors such as leadership, job satisfaction, team spirit and more. We are proud that psychological safety receives particularly good marks.

Prosperous individual and organization

To promote both physical and mental health, ProfilGruppen (Extrusions) offers a number of different wellness options. These include free exercise sessions, fruit, subsidized massages, swimming and training, and many fun activities in the staff club.

We have zero tolerance for alcohol and drug abuse and carry out pre-employment and random tests. We also support our employees in overcoming destructive behavior.

Development creates motivation

ProfilGruppen offers great opportunities for internal careers for those who want them. We work continuously with skills development and want employees to take responsibility for their own employability and skills development. Good self-leadership is beneficial for both the individual and the company.

Transparency

Employees are encouraged to report grievances to managers or trade union representatives, which can also be done anonymously through a whistleblowing system.

Human rights and working conditions

Our own employees are employed in Sweden or Germany and the majority of subcontractors are located in the Nordic countries. We can therefore expect that human rights and worker protection are met. We focus our reviews and decisions on suppliers based on a risk assessment. We never cooperate, directly or indirectly, with suppliers where we have reason to believe that child labor occurs.

In our Code of Conduct, we refer to the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labor Organization (ILO) Core Conventions. We are regularly audited and reviewed by a third party, Det Norske Veritas (DNV), also on human rights and labor conditions. To date, we have never found any deficiencies, either in our own operations or in audits of any supplier.
