Partnerships make a difference
No one person can do everything, but together we can make a difference. We work with industry associations such as European Aluminium and Svenskt Aluminium. Both organizations are driving the development and knowledge of aluminium and have agendas for a more sustainable future. We are also members of Sustainable Småland, a local network focusing on innovative environmental solutions.
Young people are our future
Both to enable our own and the industry’s future, and to provide more opportunities for young people, we are looking for areas of cooperation with schools and universities. We are in contact with a number of educational institutions and welcome study visits and degree projects.
Our heart for Åseda
We are one of Uppvidinge municipality’s largest employers and we are aware that our activities affect the locality in many ways. Having a mutually beneficial dialogue with the municipality and residents is therefore important for both parties. We actively participate in the Alsterån Water Council, which is a voluntary association of municipalities, companies and organizations working for the sustainable management of water resources around the Alsterån river.
ProfilGruppen is dependent on Åseda being an attractive place to live for our employees, which is why we sponsor Hälsans Hus, a swimming and training facility in Åseda that gives residents the opportunity for recreation and training in the area. We are also committed to supporting local businesses by prioritizing local sourcing where appropriate.
Wide views
We encourage our employees to get involved in charitable causes in other parts of the world too. Through staff suggestions, we have made special efforts to help children in war-torn Ukraine and typhoon victims in the Philippines, among others. We regularly support Vi-skogen by donating money for tree planting and better living conditions in Africa. The level of company support is based on employee engagement.
