Quality with a holistic approach
IATF 16949 should be seen as a system that includes the management of all company processes. As part of this management, the Group has intensified improvement activities through PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodology.
Working to reduce environmental impact
ProfilGruppen works in several ways to ensure that its operations contribute to a long-term sustainable society. Both profiles and processed components must be produced with the least possible environmental impact. The amount of waste in our processes must be continuously reduced. The aluminum scrap that is formed is recycled.
Internally, we work proactively to engage all employees through training and information to take an active part in environmental work.
Engaging improvement activities
The Group works according to the Balanced Scorecard. This means that all departments in the company plan their activities and set targets in four main areas. These main areas, common to the company, are:
- Customer focus
- Process focus
- Financial focus
- Staff focus
In practice, the process starts with the management team drawing up a corporate scorecard. Based on the corporate scorecard, other departments then draw up their own scorecards. In this way, all the company’s objectives are linked together.
In order to develop its activities and to achieve the objectives set in the scorecards, the company applies the PDCA methodology, a tool for defining, implementing and managing corrective actions and improvements. The methodology is strongly linked to planning, implementation, verification and improvement.
The objectives of each department in the company are visualized in the business, which allows management and employees to constantly monitor the progress of the improvement work.
