Documents and linksIn order to compensate a decrease in demand, mainly from customers within the construction and automotive segments, ProfilGruppen will adapt the organisation and reduce the production capacity in Åseda. This will result in a shutdown of the night shift at two of the company´s three production lines.
As a consequence, the company will initiate negotiations with the unions regarding staffing level cutbacks of approximately 55 employees at ProfilGruppen Extrusions AB.
”It feels terribly sad to be forced to reduce the number of employees but in the present market situation this is an absolutely necessary decision in order to assure our long term competitiveness”, says CEO Nils Arthur.
