Overall

A safe and attractive working environment is an important strategic issue for ProfilGruppen. Safety at work must always be a top priority.

Safety work must be an integral part of ProfilGruppen’s management system and be conducted in accordance with applicable laws, other requirements and regulations. The aim of ProfilGruppen’s work environment management is to create a physically, mentally and socially healthy and stimulating workplace for all employees, where risks of occupational injuries and work-related ill health are prevented. Work on the work environment and safety must be conducted systematically and preventively and focus on risk minimization in all departments of ProfilGruppen.

In ProfilGruppen, all employees shall be encouraged to participate in long-term sustainable work environment/safety work and, for example, report risky conditions in the deviation system that is available to everyone.

Responsibility

The employer has the main responsibility for health and safety. The CEO has overall responsibility for the work environment and must ensure that responsibility and authority are transferred throughout the company. Each manager’s duties must include responsibility for active work environment management, clarification of each employee’s role and adaptation of resources to the demands of the work so that the risk of unhealthy workloads does not arise.

Each employee must take great personal responsibility for their own safety and that of others by, for example, complying with safety regulations and pointing out risks or shortcomings in the working environment.

Safety representatives and safety committees have important roles in the work environment and must contribute to continuous cooperation between employees and company management on these issues.

Guidelines

In ProfilGruppen, we follow our common code of conduct, which states, among other things:

  • That harassment and bullying will never be tolerated
  • That our workplaces are free from alcohol and drugs
  • We will ensure that everyone has the necessary skills to work safely
  • We are committed to continuous improvement in health and safety
  • We will ensure that all employees understand their role and responsibilities

Both internal and external resources are used to identify and evaluate risks and to propose measures, for example through safety rounds and with the help of insurance company experts.
